I wish I could point to one impactful moment or lesson but there were so many to pick from. I would say the two that will have immediate affect is making sure I document my feedback, but also making sure to follow-up that feedback. I find myself giving constructive criticism but ending up forgetting it a week later. The other impact is reducing my drive-bys and respecting others time, including my subordinates. I’m guilty, guilty, guilty of this and during your lesson was reminded that just as my time is valuable...so is theirs.
